If you’re successful at interview, you will be added to our bespoke recruitment site, OnBoarding. Here, the Resourcing team will issue your formal documentation and you will be asked to provide any information we need.
If you applied for your role via NHS Jobs, the recruiting department will make you a job offer via NHS Jobs. You will need to log into your account and accept this before we can upload you to our OnBoarding site and begin your checks.
At this stage, your job offer is conditional and subject to completion of satisfactory pre-employment checks. The checks we carry out will be dependent on the type of job you’re going into, but can include the following:
- Identification
- Professional registration and/or qualifications
- Criminal record and DBS checks
- Occupational Health checks
- References
- Right to Work checks
You will be required to attend an in-person appointment for us to complete these checks, which you will be able to book via your OnBoarding account. We advise booking this as soon as possible to speed up your checks.
Once your pre-employment checks are complete, Resourcing will let your department know. They will confirm your start date with you and Resourcing will issue your contract, which you can view via your OnBoarding account. We advise that you don’t give notice to your current employer until your start date has been confirmed.
