The HIV outpatient service was shortlisted for a national ‘clinic of the year’ in the nOSCARS, the national recognition awards for work with BAME populations at risk of HIV.
Their work has also been highlighted in the House of Lords when Pricilla Nkwenti, Chief Executive of the Black Health Agency, recently told the all-party Parliamentary Group on sexual health that LTHT's HIV out-patient service is an exemplar of excellent partnership working.’
Dr Amy Evans represented Leeds Sexual Health in recognition of their joint efforts in HIV prevention, diagnosis and swift transfer into HIV care for those in BAME communities newly diagnosed, in partnership with the allied HIV service at LTHT and BHA Leeds Skyline.

The service is also supported by Patients services Co-ordinator, Outpatients supervisor, Reception staff, Health care assistants, Ancillary staff, Pharmacists, Pharmacy technicians, and a Secretarial team. Specialist registrars in infectious diseases and genito-urinary medicine also provide clinics.
