Your child has been advised to follow a Cinnamon and Benzoate Free diet. This involves avoiding foods, drinks and products that contain cinnamon or benzoates including naturally occurring sources and added ingredients. This type of diet may be advised when these ingredients are thought to contribute to symptoms or reactions you are having, including treatment of orofacial granulomatosis. This leaflet provides information about foods to avoid, foods you can choose, how to check labels and suitable alternatives.
